FTNF flavours

FTNF flavours (From The Namned Fruit) are natural concentrates of the flavour from a specific fruit or berry. FTNF flavours are so-called “declaration free” aromas. While FTNF flavours are considered as a natural part of juices they don’t have to be declared for. This makes a clean label possible.

 

This type of aromas can be used in beverages, confectionary, ice cream and bakery products. FTNF flavours can also be used in juices where  “common” aromas are not allowed to be added.

 

The most common use of FTNF flavours are in products where the natural and complex taste of fresh fruits or berries has been lost during the production process, usually due to heat treatment. The FTNF flavours can in these cases add back and enhance the characteristics of the specific taste.
